    genuine question, not bait: has anything in this genre actually stuck the landing? i've read maybe eight and every one of them either stops mid-arc or speedruns the last hundred chapters. i'd rather a short complete one than another eternal serial.

    cultivation novels and murim manhwa have opposite problems. the novels have twelve hundred chapters and no faces, the manhwa have gorgeous faces and skip the politics that made it worth reading. has anything actually done both well? asking sincerely, i've been let down four times.
