Jujutsu Kaisenmangamost shonen treats its strongest character as a ceiling to reach. jjk treats him as a load-bearing wall, then asks what happens to a building designed around one. you can dislike where it ends up and still admit nothing else is asking that.

i went in expecting a system-apocalypse manhwa and got something closer to an argument about what you owe a story you've read too many times. the panels know when to be quiet, which almost nothing in this genre does.

Solo Levelingmanhwai watched the anime first and assumed the manhwa would be the same thing slower. it's the opposite. the anime smooths the fights into something watchable; the manhwa lets them be ugly and one-sided, which is the point of a story about a man who stopped being outmatched.
